About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee implementation and operational support of SAP Finance and Project Systems functionality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and managed service support personnel
Design, configure, and test SAP FI/PS solutions
Provide expert guidance on SAP best practices
Facilitate collection and documentation of business requirements for SAP Finance and Project Systems modules
Support finance and project systems functionality for large SAP implementation projects, including upgrades, enhancements, and new module rollouts
Develop and maintain functional specifications and process-flow documentation
Assist with prioritization of issue resolution and enhancements
Provide guidance for troubleshooting complex issues
Build internal and external customer relationships by aligning system solutions with changing business requirements
Stay current with new technologies within SAP systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience
Graduate Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
Minimum of 9 years of experience in ERP system utilization and operational leadership
Proven track record of successful system implementations and support
Strong understanding of financial processes, project management principles, and SAP integration points with other modules (e.g., MM, SD)
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective ERP solutions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong presentation skills
Experience with development of technical solutions to complex problems and driving implementation
Experience working within financial applications, with emphasis on accounting or shared services functions
Exposure to project management methodologies, including waterfall and Agile
