About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Golang Teamcenter libraries, NX ufunc, Capital Harness DRC libraries, and other reusable and extensible codebases
  • Manage and enhance microservices within the technology stack
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend systems with web applications
  • Maintain self-driven or time-driven projects
  • Stay current with industry trends and technologies
  • Troubleshoot and resolve API integration and microservices issues
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable, efficient backend systems
  • Advocate for and arbitrate effective design solutions based on requirements
  • Leverage LLMs appropriately to accelerate solution delivery
  • Integrate disparate tools into a PLM suite
  • Collaborate with the development team and share knowledge
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree with two (2) years of software development with a focus on backend systems experience
  • Graduate Degree with zero (0) to two (2) years of software development with a focus on backend systems experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of six (6) years of software development with a focus on backend systems experience
  • Must have an active Secret Clearance at the time of hire
  • Understanding in Golang, C#, JavaScript, and Vue, or equivalent languages
  • Familiarity with PLM tools and CAD/CAM or other Revision based Content Management systems
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture
  • Understanding of PDM and complex PLM philosophies
  • Experience integrating disparate tools into a PLM suite such as Simulations, Requirements Management, MBSE, or “unique space”
  • Utilization of and development for Teamcenter RAC with Active Workspace experience
  • Hands-on exposure to large data migrations/transforms
  • Aptitude working directly with infrastructure/architecture across various virtualization platforms
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
