About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support preparation of the Forward Pricing Rate Proposal (FPRP) and Disclosure Statement (DS)
- Support internal and external audits related to FPRP, DS, Cost Accounting Standards, and Business Systems
- Maintain rate tables and proposal-supporting financial information
- Assist with ad hoc requests, analysis, and special projects regarding compliance issues
- Create and maintain process documentation
- Prepare and provide compliance-related training
- Interface with Financial Planning and Analysis, Cost Planning, Accounting, Compliance POCs, and external government customers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- 3+ years of experience within compliance, program finance, accounting, or financial planning in the aerospace/government contracting environment
- 3+ years of experience interpreting and applying FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation), DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement), and CAS (Cost Accounting Standards)
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
