About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administer, automate, and sustain enterprise Linux-based infrastructure and platform environments
  • Configure, patch, tune performance, maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve issues on Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems
  • Deploy, configure, and sustain VMware virtualized infrastructure and/or OpenShift container platforms
  • Automate system administration, configuration management, application deployment, patching, and repeatable infrastructure support activities using Ansible
  • Support Kubernetes containerized applications, cluster operations, workload deployments, and platform troubleshooting
  • Participate in SAFe Agile team ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery
  • Contribute to modernization efforts across virtualized and containerized platforms
  • Maintain secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure supporting mission-critical operations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
  • Top Secret SCI preferred; SCI eligible at minimum
  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 required
  • Security+ CE, or higher certification required
  • Experience administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems in a production enterprise environment
  • Experience supporting VMware virtualized infrastructure and/or OpenShift container platforms
  • Experience using Ansible for automation, configuration management, application deployment, patching, and infrastructure support
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and experience supporting containerized applications and cluster operations
  • Experience operating within a SAFe Agile framework
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator certification preferred
  • Experience using Red Hat Satellite preferred
  • CKA certification or equivalent demonstrated experience preferred
  • Experience using Splunk preferred
  • Familiarity with JIRA, GitHub, and Jenkins preferred
  • Experience writing or modifying Python scripts preferred
  • Scrum Master certification or practical Agile team facilitation experience preferred
