About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a technical lead for classified system security architecture
  • Oversee end-to-end system authorization processes, including security categorization, control implementation, validation, and continuous monitoring
  • Develop and author RMF documentation packages, including SSP, SCTM, POA&M, and RAR
  • Mentor ISSOs and System Administrators on control inheritance, risk acceptance, and test methodologies
  • Lead vulnerability and compliance assessments and coordinate remediation with Engineering and Program Management
  • Direct audit readiness and inspection efforts for DCSA
  • Provide strategic security advisory support on architecture decisions, enclave segmentation, and classified lab operations
  • Coordinate advanced incident response for containment and recovery within approved system boundaries
  • Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness and privileged user training
  • Monitor evolving cybersecurity threats, regulatory changes, and defense policy updates
  • Represent the Cyber Intelligence Team in engineering reviews, change control boards, and capital planning discussions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
  • Minimum Security+ certification required in accordance with DoD 8570/8140
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
  • Strong background in Linux and Windows environments
  • Experience with DCSA DAAG (formerly DAAPM), JSIG, and NIST RMF
  • Experience leading and executing RMF activities for classified systems through all lifecycle phases
  • Knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat) and Windows operating systems in mixed enclave environments
  • Experience leading vulnerability management programs using ACAS/Nessus, SCAP, and STIG compliance tools
  • Experience with virtualization, containerization, and enclave segregation architectures
  • Experience with Splunk, Tenable (Nessus), STIGViewer, SCAP, DISA Gold Disk/Secure Host Baseline (SHB), and SIEM platforms
