About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and integrate software for flight test instrumentation and shipboard systems
- Perform software development across the full SDLC, from requirements through testing and deployment
- Perform trade studies, root cause analysis, and other software technical investigations
- Join the Range and Test Solutions software development team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active US Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with a minimum of 4 years of software development experience, or a Graduate degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
- 3+ years of experience with system/software requirements management
- 3+ years of experience in embedded or real-time software development, GUI design and development
- 3+ years of experience in one or more of: C, C++, C#, Java, or Python
- Ability to travel up to 20% and work extended hours as needed
- Preferred: familiarity with DOORS, static code analysis tools, reverse engineering tools, DISA STIG requirements, Agile, DEVOPS, UML/MBSE, virtualization, containerization, Qt Enterprise, Linux/RHEL, Windows OS, Visual Studio/.NET, RTOS, Oracle RDBMS, SQL Server, SQLite, modern UI technologies, Java/JRE/JDK/JavaFX/Tomcat, client/server architectures, database application development, Windows/Linux server administration, and integrated product team frameworks
