About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, maintain, integrate, upgrade, and enhance Golang Teamcenter libraries, NX ufunc, Capital Harness DRC libraries, and other reusable and extensible codebases
- Develop, maintain, integrate, and upgrade microservices within the technology stack
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend systems with web applications
- Independently manage self-driven or time-driven projects with substantial autonomy
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
- Troubleshoot and resolve API integration and microservices issues in relation to program security controls
- Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable, efficient backend systems
- Advocate for and arbitrate the best designs based on defined requirements
- Balance program security control functions with development responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree with four (4) years of software development experience focused on backend systems
- Graduate Degree with two (2) years of software development experience focused on backend systems
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of eight (8) years of software development experience focused on backend systems
- Active Secret clearance required at the time of hire
- Understanding of Golang, C#, JavaScript, and Vue, or equivalent languages
- Familiarity with PLM tools, CAD/CAM, and custom-developed applications/systems for the ISR business model
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture implementation
- Experience integrating disparate tools into a PLM suite, such as Simulations, Requirements Management, MBSE, or “unique space”
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to new technologies
- Strong communication, status reporting, prioritization, and ability to work effectively with minimal oversight
- Experience utilizing and developing for Teamcenter RAC and/or Active Workspace
- Hands-on experience with large data migrations/transforms
- Aptitude working directly with infrastructure/architecture across various virtualization platforms and program versus enterprise teams
- Ability to work in uncharted digital territories and deliver results aligned with business needs
