About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the financial performance of La Fabrique by CA and its startups
- Manage annual budgets, multi-year financial plans, and rolling forecasts
- Build the financial scenarios required to support decision-making
- Produce and analyze monthly reporting, monitor key performance indicators, and track variances
- Recommend actions and support decision-making on business plans, pricing, and investments
- Define relevant KPIs based on each business model
- Manage cash flows and cash forecasts, monitor cash burn, and anticipate financing needs
- Oversee accounting and financial close processes, ensure the reliability of financial statements, and ensure compliance with tax deadlines
- Manage relationships with statutory auditors and lead audits
- Serve as the accounting and tax point of contact for the startups
- Monitor relevant legislative and regulatory developments
- Perform internal controls over the La Fabrique Group’s financial flows
- Improve procedures and enhance the reliability of reporting data and tools
- Lead the deployment of AI within the Finance function, particularly the automation of accounting, financial management, and invoicing
- Prioritize projects, measure benefits, and support teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Expertise in FP&A
- Strong accounting and tax expertise
- Experience managing budgets, multi-year financial plans, and forecasts
- Skills in financial reporting and variance analysis
- Expertise in cash management and assessing financing needs
- Experience overseeing accounting and financial close processes
- Knowledge of audits and managing relationships with statutory auditors
- Ability to monitor accounting and tax legislation and regulations
- Skills in internal controls over financial flows
- Experience deploying AI and automating Finance processes
- Ability to manage a general accountant
