Visual Merchandiser

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute visual merchandising strategies across 5–10 assigned store locations
- Implement in-store visual presentations aligned with brand standards
- Manage merchandise transfers between stores and distribution centers
- Oversee clearance and floor inventory levels with the Market Sales Manager
- Execute floor moves for furniture and seasonal displays
- Serve as the primary contact for store merchandising initiatives
- Maintain clean, safe, and attractive visual displays
- Collaborate with store teams to resolve implementation issues
- Lead and assist with new store openings, remodels, visual enhancements, acquisitions, store closings, and high-impact sales events
- Train store teams on recovery plans and display-maintenance best practices
- Analyze market trends and support inventory flow and visual standards
- Support ATL-area stores and travel to the Knoxville remote store as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, with 0–2 years of relevant experience or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage a work schedule and manage time effectively
- Up to 75% travel
- Ability to meet the qualifications of the company’s Driver Management Program if travel/driving is required
- Ability to sit, use repetitive hand motion, hear, listen, talk, stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb stairs, climb ladders, kneel, squat, crouch, crawl, balance, reach overhead, pull, push, and lift up to or over 50 pounds
