About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop new business through prospecting, cold calls, networking, meetings, and referrals
  • Build lasting client relationships by understanding their needs and supporting them throughout the decision-making process
  • Identify sales opportunities and introduce clients to new products and solutions
  • Prepare quotes and proposals, conduct follow-ups, negotiate, address objections, and close sales
  • Set up new accounts and ensure order confirmations
  • Stay involved throughout projects, including mockup, dieline, press proof approval, and delivery stages
  • Follow up on change notices, overruns, unexpected issues, and corrections to find solutions quickly
  • Conduct post-sale follow-ups, ensure client satisfaction, and assist with complaint resolution when needed
  • Keep CRM information up to date

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Vocational diploma or college diploma in sales, business administration, or a field related to the graphic communications industry, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Experience in sales and/or the printing industry
  • Good knowledge of the graphic communications process and commercial printing—an asset
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and computer tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build trusting relationships and positively influence decisions
  • Business acumen and ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities
  • Self-confidence, autonomy, and initiative
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivated to develop new business
