About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Edit commercial, social and marketing projects to a high standard using Adobe Premiere
- Undertake animation and motion graphics tasks
- Assist other editors under the direction and guidance of Senior Video Editors
- Provide ad-hoc shoot support duties, such as DITing
- Keep up to date with video trends and provide feedback in appropriate forums
- Perform colour correction and grading of images and videos to broadcast and social standards
- Source audio tracks and sound mix edits, creating well-mastered multi-layer tracks
- Ensure content follows brand guidelines and the tone of relevant LADbible Group channels
- Complete editing tasks under the direction of Lead and Senior Video Editors
- Manage projects with internal and external stakeholders according to LADbible Video Team workflows and processes
- Guide junior video team members, teach best practices and maintain technical processes
- Maintain hard drives and archives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 3+ years of full-time experience in a similar role at a production company, post-house, agency, publisher or brand
- Professional experience of the Adobe Creative Suite, with exceptional proficiency in Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop
- High level of proficiency in colour grading using Adobe Premiere
- High level of proficiency in sound mixing and mastering
- Passion for social and branded content
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, problem solving and creativity on a daily basis
- Confidence in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
