About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and coordinate EHS compliance, assurance and audit programmes across the UK
  • Conduct audits, inspections and compliance reviews, tracking actions through completion
  • Manage legal compliance registers and monitor emerging legislation and regulatory changes
  • Support and continuously improve ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems
  • Act as subject matter expert for EHS reporting systems, dashboards and performance data
  • Use data analytics to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities
  • Support external assurance activities, including ISO certifications, EcoVadis, ESOS and customer audits
  • Partner with operational leaders to strengthen risk management, compliance and safe ways of working
  • Deliver reporting and insights supporting leadership decision-making and organisational learning
  • Report to the Head of EHS & Responsible Business

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in EHS compliance, assurance, auditing or management systems
  • Strong knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation
  • Experience supporting ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 frameworks
  • Highly analytical, with experience using systems, data and technology to improve performance
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and translate complex requirements into practical solutions
  • Experience within a multi-site operational environment is advantageous
  • Full UK driving licence
