About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with data science, backend, and forward deployed engineering teams to ideate, collect feedback, prototype, and productionize Insights solutions
Build Insights functionality for different customer personas and ensure end-to-end feature delivery and success
Identify friction points and build internal products that help FDEs move quickly and achieve customer goals
Deliver polished user-facing features with scalable UI components
Improve interpretability of ML models and observability of customer factory processes
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Improve application performance through frontend framework innovations, SQL query optimization, and backend API refactoring
Work on customer-facing software for Laminar’s industrial automation and cleantech platform

Requirements

What you’ll need

1-4 years of experience working with customer-facing products
Strong proficiency in React/Typescript and experience with modern frontend tooling
Familiarity with Python for data visualizations and rapid prototyping
Strong UX sensibilities
Ability to build performant, intuitive, and polished features
Self-driven, high-ownership mentality
Ability to conceptualize customer needs with different business requirements and ship production solutions
Appreciation for simplicity and pragmatism in software development
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative in-person office in Boston
