About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide strategic financial leadership, rigorous performance insight, and operational decision support to senior leaders and cross-functional partners
Lead routine monthly financial reporting and variance analysis for the Milk Powders business
Facilitate cross-functional risk-management discussions
Support key growth strategies through advanced modeling and actionable insights
Own monthly reporting and analysis of key financial and operational performance drivers, emphasizing root causes and forward-looking implications
Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-range planning for the Milk Powders business
Align key assumptions across functional leaders
Frame financial exposures, conduct market scenario analysis, and recommend action steps for leadership
Partner with sales, supply chain, supply chain finance, risk management, planning, strategic operations, marketing, and Dairy Accounting stakeholders
Shape financial priorities, evaluate strategic alternatives, build financial business cases for capital investments, and connect near-term operating decisions to long-range objectives
Collaborate with the milk supply team on milk balancing decisions related to pricing for ultrafiltered milk and condensed skim products

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field is required
A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience required
Advanced skills in financial return modeling across both the P&L and Balance Sheet
Advanced Excel Skills
Hyperion and/or OneStream highly desired
Previous work experience supporting agriculture industry and commodity market environment preferred
Ability to synthesize dynamic inputs like changing commodity market conditions into key recommendations with clear impacts and implications
Connects business decisions to broader enterprise economics, strategy, risk, and long-term value creation
Ability to take an enterprise view of the value chain and build strong relationships
Self-starter with a bias for action, able to work independently as finance partner within a matrixed operating environment
