About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create, maintain, and structure mechanical and electrical BOMs within SAP PLM
- Manage component master data, including attributes, classifications, documentation, and revision control
- Administer Engineering Change Requests and Engineering Change Orders
- Ensure product data complies with business, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements
- Support engineering teams by implementing approved design changes within PLM systems
- Conduct data audits and validation checks to maintain data integrity
- Perform document control activities, including version management and release processes
- Support configuration management and product lifecycle governance activities
- Produce reports and data extracts for Engineering, Procurement, and Quality teams
- Act as a key contact for SAP PLM queries and user support
Requirements
What you’ll need- SAP PLM experience (essential or highly desirable)
- BOM creation and maintenance
- Master data management
- Engineering change management, including ECR/ECO processes
- Document control and revision management
- Reporting and data analysis
- Understanding of configuration management principles
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
