About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the transfer, organization, processing, and analysis of field data
  • Collaborate with the survey team to maintain data integrity
  • Coordinate development and review of field packages, field procedures, and project lifecycle activities
  • Utilize advanced software and tools for data processing and analysis
  • Work closely with Professional Land Surveyors to learn how to analyze final boundary decisions
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to less experienced technicians
  • Assist Survey Technicians I & II with task assignments, work scheduling, and project coordination
  • Communicate with clients and project managers
  • Ensure project requirements are met and issues are addressed
  • Report project progress accurately
  • Provide technical support and leadership in surveying operations
  • Perform data processing and collaborate with survey teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Educational background in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3+ years of drafting experience (Easements and Deed Sketching)
  • 5+ years of experience using Civil 3D
  • Strong experience in data processing, including managing field data, performing quality checks, and preparing deliverables
  • Hands-on field experience with surveying equipment and workflows, with the ability to support and coordinate with field crews
  • Surveyor in Training (SIT) certification preferred or actively working toward licensure
  • Solid experience with boundary surveying, including research, analysis, and preparation of boundary deliverables
