About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the transfer, organization, processing, and analysis of field data
  • Coordinate development and review of field packages, field procedures, and the project lifecycle
  • Utilize advanced software and tools for data processing and analysis
  • Work closely with a Professional Land Surveyor to analyze final boundary decisions
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to less experienced technicians
  • Assist Survey Technicians I and II with task assignments, work scheduling, and project coordination
  • Communicate with clients and project managers
  • Ensure project requirements are met and issues are addressed
  • Report project progress accurately
  • Provide technical support and leadership in surveying operations
  • Collaborate with survey teams on data processing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Educational background in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of technical experience in progressively responsible surveying roles
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting, data processing, and reviewing final surveying deliverables
  • Proficiency in advanced surveying instruments and software
  • In-depth knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and procedures
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
