About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Acquire real estate rights, including fee, easement, and other interests, from landowners in compliance with company policies and strategies
- Grant, renew, and manage licenses, leases, easements, and other existing rights
- Address customer inquiries and explain agreements
- Evaluate transmission and distribution project proposals and determine real estate requirements
- Prepare project reports, cost estimates, and land-use assessments
- Analyze market sales data and prepare appraisals, market value estimates, and real estate reports
- Conduct reviews to identify work programs and project requirements
- Attend public meetings and maintain relationships with clients, legal representatives, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with legislative, governmental, and company requirements
- Secure approval for transaction settlement terms and prepare documentation
- Monitor real estate industry trends and provide expert advice
- Meet business goals, timetables, and delivery dates
- Coordinate data exchange and communication among Real Estate, clients, stakeholders, and relevant groups
- Resolve complex real estate issues and seek guidance when needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5 years of concentrated study in real estate-related fields, including industrial, commercial, residential, and rural real estate, appraisal, real estate property law, real estate management, land use planning, business administration, economics, and marketing
- Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the real estate industry involving transactions, market valuation, legal documents, real estate practices, and procedures
- Familiarity with valuing and acquiring fee, easement, or other real estate interests, granting rights, selling properties, and interpreting plans and surveys
- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting variables related to real estate, demonstrating sound judgment and the ability to develop effective and balanced solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Thorough understanding of legislative, governmental, and company operational requirements related to real estate acquisition, management, and disposal
- Ability to address complex real estate issues and apply critical thinking to develop timely and effective solutions
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to detect and rectify errors promptly
- Willingness to work in both a business office environment and in the field
