About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain applications, including frontend interfaces, backend services, and databases
- Contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of new features and improvements
- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment automation
- Participate actively in code reviews
- Engage in sprint retrospectives, refinements, daily stand-ups, and other team processes
- Take full ownership of products and solutions developed
- Eliminate bugs early through TDD/BDD and other tests
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools and workflows while maintaining code quality and rigor
- Share knowledge and support fellow developers, QA professionals, and support teams
- Support team leaders with expert knowledge and assist in customer meetings
- Collaborate with the Site Reliability Engineer on CI/CD pipelines
- Deliver major features to production with measurable impact
- Mentor mid-level and junior developers
- Improve team processes, code quality, and technical decision-making
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices
- Experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem, including .NET Core/.NET 6+ and ASP.NET Web API
- Experience with Python
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration
- Familiarity with asynchronous programming and performance optimization in .NET
- Ability to contribute to frontend codebases using Vue.js and/or TypeScript
- Basic understanding of frontend build tools and state management, such as Vuex or Pinia
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD practices
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks
- Comfortable working in agile development environments and participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and peer mentoring
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams including product, design, and QA
- DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform and Helm, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven systems
- Proficiency with relational databases, particularly MSSQL and/or PostgreSQL
- Hands-on experience with Entity Framework (EF Core) and LINQ
- Familiarity with message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus
- Awareness of security best practices in software development
