About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Proactively advise, support and monitor teams on financial and non-financial data management
- Lead the annual budget cycle
- Measure performance and identify and limit internal and external risks
- Provide internal and external management reports at group level
- Direct and control accurate financial and non-financial information provision
- Act as discussion partner to senior management and board level
- Perform Business Controlling for Dutch and foreign entities
- Support cash and foreign exchange management of group entities
- Monitor developments in the market and industry
- Provide, further develop and optimize periodic financial and non-financial management reports
- Combine operational Business Controlling with strategic thinking about growth ambitions and Finance requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed education at HBO or WO level focused on Economics or Management
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience as Business Controller
- Demonstrable experience managing large amounts of financial and non-financial data
- Numerical and analytical skills
- Accurate working style
- Proactive, hands-on work mentality
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Proven affinity and experience with PowerBI or other data-analytical tooling
- Strategic insight and ability to translate financial data into actionable information
- Genuine ambition to apply AI in daily work
- Fluency in English
- VOG (Certificate of Conduct)/Screening as part of the recruitment procedure
