About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and develop a team of delivery professionals
- Build delivery capability and drive outcomes across engineering
- Explore, question, and create new delivery practices for an increasingly AI-enabled environment
- Apply AI-enabled approaches to improve planning, coordination, decision-making, and team effectiveness
- Establish structured, scalable delivery practices that improve predictability, transparency, and outcome validation
- Bring clarity to ambiguous and evolving situations so teams can define work, manage risks and dependencies, and maintain momentum
- Coach team members through regular feedback, performance management, and career development
- Identify capability gaps and strengthen the team through hiring, development, and clear role expectations
- Partner with engineering and product leaders to align priorities, manage trade-offs, and improve delivery across teams
- Collaborate with Engineering leadership, Product Management, Design, Security, and stakeholders across the organisation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience leading teams responsible for software product delivery, product ownership, project management, or related functions in a SaaS environment
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, from product discovery and requirements definition through engineering execution, validation, release, and outcome measurement
- Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional initiatives with strong stakeholder communication and alignment across technical and business teams
- Sufficient technical understanding to recognise system constraints, delivery risks, and trade-offs while partnering effectively with engineering teams
- Experience establishing scalable delivery practices that improve predictability, transparency, risk management, and outcome validation
- Known for bringing clarity, structure, and direction to ambiguous and evolving situations
- A continuous-improvement mindset and practical curiosity about using AI to improve planning, coordination, and delivery effectiveness
- A track record of building cohesive teams while acknowledging the distinct responsibilities and development needs of each team member
