About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain the Manufacturing Engineering function’s documentation system and information tools.
- Ensure competency management and provide technical support to all sites.
- Maintain and improve Manufacturing Engineering’s internal processes.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects to improve processes, tools, and documentation.
- Lead Manufacturing Engineering communities of practice and gather sites’ development needs.
- Conduct functional assessments across all sites and monitor the associated action plans.
- Participate in the harmonization and deployment of best practices across the organization.
- Support all sites in maintaining, harmonizing, and improving the function’s processes, tools, and standards.
- Contribute to competency development and lead the Manufacturing Engineering community in an international environment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree from a general engineering school or equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
- Expertise in electrical wiring, configuration management, and Manufacturing Engineering processes.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes for aerospace electrical assemblies and systems, particularly EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System), as well as cross-functional roles and processes.
- Good command of Manufacturing Engineering IT tools and Microsoft Office (intermediate level).
- Minimum B1 level of English, written and spoken.
- Spanish is an asset.
- Agility, rigor, strong team spirit, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to exercise cross-functional leadership in an international environment, lead change, develop competencies, and promote a culture of innovation.
