Key responsibilities & impact

Lead collaboration with customers, business stakeholders, and technology teams to deliver initiatives aligned with product strategy and business goals
Lead discovery to define business problems, desired outcomes, and measurable success criteria
Own and refine requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria
Lead decisions on scope, sequencing, dependencies, and tradeoffs
Develop business cases defining value, scope boundaries, assumptions, risks, and success metrics
Provide value, risk, and dependency analysis for backlog refinement and roadmap planning while Product Management retains final prioritization ownership
Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are testable and acceptance criteria are verifiable
Prepare UAT and release validation for execution
Monitor feature outcomes, defect trends, and customer feedback
Lead corrective actions to improve adoption, quality, and cycle-time performance
Maintain requirement and decision artifacts to reduce rework and support predictable delivery
Lead and mentor business analysts and improve team standards, practices, and tools
Participate in customer, stakeholder, business analyst, product lead, and technical architect collaboration

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience)
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in business analysis, product analysis, or a closely related role with progressively elevated responsibilities
Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple systems, teams, or business domains
Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery practices and backlog tooling such as Jira and SharePoint
Ability to lead requirements through the full delivery lifecycle
Ability to lead end-to-end requirements governance, including traceability, change control, and decision logging
Strong cross-functional impact, risk, and dependency analysis skills
Strong working proficiency with SQL for data validation
Ability to interpret application, system, and integration logs
Experience using observability tools such as Datadog for root-cause analysis and corrective action
Ability to define test strategy inputs and acceptance frameworks for initiative-level UAT and release validation
Demonstrated mentoring and coaching of analysts
Working relationship with AI demonstrated through day-to-day work
Financial services or other highly regulated industry experience is a bonus
