About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee bookkeeping and tax obligations for group companies in accordance with applicable legislation and internal procedures
  • Prepare financial statements and monthly financial reports in compliance with IFRS standards
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures accurately and within deadlines
  • Monitor annual stock procedures and support cost accounting activities
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations and internal controls
  • Support the development and enhancement of accounting processes and financial reporting procedures
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities and other relevant stakeholders during audits and reporting cycles
  • Supervise, train and support accounting assistants and junior team members

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  • A’ Class Accounting License
  • At least 7–10 years of professional experience in a relevant accounting role, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation and financial reporting standards (IFRS)
  • Proven experience in monthly reporting and preparation of financial statements
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Computer literacy, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
