Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA or CMA is a plus, not required
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance
  • Hands-on ownership of multi-entity or multi-location month-end close
  • Experience working in a law firm or similar services industry is highly desirable
  • Strong GAAP knowledge
  • Advanced Excel experience, including pivot tables, lookups, and modeling
  • Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems
  • Experience with Clio or similar legal practice management software is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality and compliance
  • Experience at a company scaling through $20M-$50M revenue
