About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as an instructor and coordinator for LSAC’s signature Plus program
- Provide individually tailored support to participating scholars through virtual meetings and correspondence
- Develop and build online education content and program development in a learning environment
- Meet with Plus scholars to address individual questions and needs
- Track scholar participation, report outcomes, and recommend program development based on findings
- Follow up with scholars to increase program participation, retention, and impact
- Manage multiple calendars and schedules for programming and recordings with program stakeholders
- Record and edit programming content for Plus, ensuring accessibility and quality
- Coordinate with schools and the events team for Plus hubs
- Build an inclusive virtual learning environment for content delivery
- Coordinate with program stakeholders for content creation and delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in education, law, or another related field, or relevant experience
- Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum two (2) years of experience counseling or coaching higher education students in legal education admissions and providing student support
- Minimum one (1) year of experience teaching or delivering educational content
- Minimum two (2) years of experience managing relationships with multiple stakeholders and constituents
- At least one (1) year of experience working with or running educational pathway programs; three years preferred
- Experience building and managing virtual content through a learning management system
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required
- Firm understanding of law school experience and legal education admissions process
- Ability and willingness to learn and use specialized office software
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize as needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management, prioritization, attention to detail, and organization skills
- Willingness to work necessary hours to satisfactorily complete assignments
- Ability to travel up to 30%
