About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the engineering anchor of an initiative alongside a product manager, designer, and engineering peers
Shape problems, determine technical approaches, direct AI agents, ship to production, and own outcomes
Own architecture, data models, integrations, rollout plans, observability, and rollback strategies
Establish implementation-quality workflows including prompts, guardrails, evals, tests, and review loops
Collaborate daily with the product manager and designer, regularly with engineering peers, and weekly with the Engineering Manager
Own initiative metrics and present results 2–4 weeks after launch
Ensure production correctness, security, performance, observability, and customer and pro experience
Ship 3–4 initiatives end-to-end in the first year and demonstrate measurable outcomes
Create reusable agent workflows, runbooks, evals, and post-launch write-ups
Work with AI agents, PHP/Laravel, TypeScript/React/React Native, Redshift, dbt, Segment, Airflow, AWS, Datadog, Sentry, GitHub Actions, Brain, Confluence, and Jira

Requirements

What you’ll need

Daily production use of Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or equivalent AI coding agents
Experience with prompts, evals, agent loops, and review workflows
Experience building workflows where AI agents author code while the engineer steers, reviews, and verifies
Operating at a lead level: making technical calls, shipping difficult work, and owning outcomes
Outcome-driven approach focused on metrics and customer experience
Strong collaboration with product managers, designers, and engineering peers
Ability to make and document architecture, data-model, and rollout decisions
Ability to create reusable agent workflows, evals, runbooks, and post-launch reviews
Customer- and pro-minded approach
Deep skill in at least one listed technology stack
Credible production experience with AI coding agents
Experience with at least one of: PHP/Laravel; TypeScript/React/React Native; Redshift; dbt; Segment; Airflow; AWS; Datadog; Sentry; GitHub Actions; Confluence; Jira
