About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct internal investigations related to reports received through the Whistleblower Hotline, covering operations nationwide
  • Investigate cases of various types, including harassment, conflicts of interest, misappropriation of materials and company property, violations of internal policies, and other ethical and behavioral matters
  • Gather, analyze, and cross-reference the information and evidence required to conduct investigations
  • Conduct interviews with reporters, subjects of complaints, witnesses, and other individuals involved in the investigations
  • Structure and document the various stages of the investigative process, ensuring that investigations are properly formalized
  • Prepare investigation reports consolidating facts, evidence, analyses, and key findings
  • Engage with different internal departments and stakeholders to gather information and conduct investigations
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring organization, compliance with internal workflows, and appropriate progress of investigations
  • Support the resolution of investigated cases, ensuring confidentiality, impartiality, and adherence to the company’s internal policies and procedures
  • Report to the Compliance Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
  • Previous experience in Compliance, with hands-on experience conducting internal/corporate investigations
  • Experience with Whistleblower Hotlines and investigating different types of reports
  • Experience conducting investigative interviews, gathering information, and analyzing evidence
  • Experience preparing investigation reports and documenting investigations
  • Ability to manage multiple investigations simultaneously with organization and autonomy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to build relationships and interact effectively with different departments and stakeholders
  • Hands-on, organized, and able to work independently
  • Discretion, maturity, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information and situations
  • Active Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) registration required for engagement as an Associate
