About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as a tax business partner to business units, supporting advisory requests related to the company’s operations
  • Analyze the tax implications of contracts, transactions, projects, and new business models
  • Prepare analyses and recommendations primarily related to Indirect Taxes, including ICMS, IPI, and PIS/COFINS
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and translate their impacts for operational and commercial teams
  • Support matters related to Tax Reform by assessing its impact on existing processes, operations, and business models
  • Participate in the review and adjustment of internal processes in response to tax changes
  • Support the structuring of new projects and initiatives by assessing tax-related risks, opportunities, and alternatives
  • Work closely with business units, translating tax matters into practical guidance
  • Support discussions involving industrial and agricultural operations, logistics, contracts, and new operating models
  • Support consumer goods-related matters, including pricing, margins, commercial models, and collaboration with Pricing and Revenue teams
  • Engage with tax specialists and professionals on more complex matters
  • Manage assignments independently, with strong organization, analytical skills, and prioritization
  • Report to the Tax Management team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Law, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong experience in Tax Planning, Tax Consulting, or Tax Advisory
  • In-depth knowledge of Indirect Taxes, especially ICMS, IPI, and PIS/COFINS
  • Experience analyzing the tax implications of transactions and business models
  • Ability to interpret tax legislation and translate its implications for non-specialist audiences
  • Experience working closely with business units and different internal stakeholders
  • Consultative, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to independently receive, structure, and manage complex assignments
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across different areas of an organization
  • Active OAB registration for engagement as an Associate, or eligibility to work as a legal entity (PJ)
