About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Engage customers, share product knowledge, and provide a best-in-class customer experience
  • Operate computerized cash registers and work on the store floor
  • Interact with customers, co-workers, wholesale representatives, and trade representatives
  • Assist with receiving inventory, unloading trucks, handling product, stock replenishment, and maintaining Customer Ready Standards
  • Perform rotational duties involving repetitive lifting of cases weighing up to 40 lbs/18 kgs
  • Stand continuously and process customer transactions
  • Work peak periods, evening and weekend shifts, or when extra help is required
  • Support the LCBO's mission of supporting Ontario businesses and communities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Satisfactory Criminal Background Check before commencing work, at the candidate's own expense, unless a satisfactory check issued within the past six months suffices
  • Availability during peak business periods, including Christmas and tourist periods
  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts or when extra help is required
  • Ability to wear a light grey shirt, black pants and black shoes for the duration of the shift
  • Payment of union dues currently 1.575% of gross earnings
