About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Engage customers, share product knowledge, and provide a best-in-class customer experience
  • Operate computerized cash registers and work on the store floor
  • Interact with customers, co-workers, wholesale representatives, and trade representatives
  • Assist with receiving inventory and unloading trucks
  • Handle products and replenish stock

  • Perform rotational duties involving lifting, continuous standing, and customer transactions
  • Work peak periods, evening and weekend shifts, and occasional short-notice shifts as scheduled

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Must submit to a Criminal Background Check at own expense before commencing work, unless a satisfactory check issued within the past six months suffices
  • Availability during peak business periods, including Christmas and tourist periods
  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts or whenever extra help is required
  • Ability to wear a light grey shirt, black pants, and black shoes during shifts
  • Ability to perform repetitive lifting of cases weighing up to 40 lbs/18 kgs
  • Ability to stand continuously
  • Ability to process customer transactions
  • Payment of union dues currently equal to 1.575% of gross earnings
