About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow
  • Collaborate with architects on solution design and implementation approaches
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
  • Write clean, well-documented, testable code following team standards
  • Partner with QA to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Contribute to code reviews with constructive, supportive feedback
  • Translate public health requirements into technical solutions
  • Support development of the PH360 platform
  • Participate in quarterly Program Increment planning and help shape the technical roadmap
  • Work in two-week sprints with backlog refinement and retrospectives
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and quality engineers
  • Suggest improvements to team processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
  • 1–3 years of work experience in governmental public health (local, state, federal, tribal, or non-profit)
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components
  • Experience with Salesforce Flow and declarative automation tools
  • Understanding of Salesforce data modeling and security model
  • Familiarity with integration patterns and REST/SOAP APIs
  • Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks and test-driven development
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Willingness to adhere to the no-drug workplace policy
  • Must agree to undergo eVerify for employment status at hiring
  • Preferred: Salesforce Platform Developer II certification
  • Preferred: Experience with Service Cloud or Health Cloud
  • Preferred: Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements
  • Preferred: Experience with SAFe Agile methodology
  • Preferred: Background in public health data systems or epidemiology workflows
