About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform on-site SLCP verifications, including document reviews, stakeholder interviews, and facility walkthroughs
- Carry out Higg FEM and RBA environmental assessments focused on chemical management, energy use, water, and waste systems
- Draft detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with facility management and workers to collect accurate information and deliver feedback
- Follow SLCP and ISO 14001 protocols, industry standards, and ethical guidelines during verification processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Based in Latin America, specifically Mexico
- Valid APSCA CSCA certification
- In-depth knowledge of local and international labor standards
- SLCP experience is an advantage
- ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification
- Qualified for RBA Environmental and Higg FEM modules
- Experience with environmental audits in manufacturing settings
- Fluency in the local language
- Strong report writing and analytical skills
- Familiarity with chemical, energy, water, and waste systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments independently
