About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own forecast methodology across brands, products, and sales motions
- Run forecast accuracy reviews, diagnose misses, and drive corrective actions
- Partner with FP&A to reconcile the GTM forecast and financial plan
- Build and own capacity models covering headcount, ramp, productivity, attrition, and coverage
- Own quota-setting methodology and territory/segment allocation
- Model sales compensation plans, payout curves, accelerators, and scenarios
- Monitor compensation plan performance, attainment distribution, payouts, and unintended behavior
- Define and govern GTM metrics including conversion, velocity, win rate, opportunity creation, pipeline coverage, and rep productivity
- Establish benchmarks and targets by brand and sales motion
- Lead the revenue side of annual planning, including targets, capacity, quota, compensation, and pipeline requirements
- Build scenario models for leadership trade-off decisions
- Advise the CRO and CEO with clear recommendations
- Own the analytical foundation for monthly Board reporting and forecast commentary
- Lead, develop, and scale the Revenue Analytics & Planning team
- Create consistent reporting and forecasting across brands, including non-Salesforce business units
- Use AI and automation to reduce manual reporting
- Partner with GTM Systems on CRM data standards
- Report directly to the CRO and serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years in revenue operations, sales strategy & planning, sales finance, or FP&A supporting a GTM organization
- Direct ownership of forecast methodology, capacity planning, and quota/comp modeling
- Experience leading annual GTM planning cycles end to end at the company or business-unit level
- Track record presenting analysis and recommendations to C-level and Board audiences and changing decisions as a result
- 4+ years building and leading analytics or planning teams
- Experience in a multi-brand, multi-product, or SaaS + services business strongly preferred
- PE-backed experience a plus
- Expert Excel / Google Sheets modeling, including driver-based, scenario, and sensitivity models
- Strong Salesforce reporting and data-model fluency
- SQL and a BI tool such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker strongly preferred
- Familiarity with forecasting and revenue intelligence tools such as Clari or Gong and compensation tools a plus
- Ability to build durable frameworks and explain recommendations simply
- Comfortable pushing back on senior stakeholders with data
- Bias toward speed and simplicity over perfect precision
- This role is not open to candidates located in Colorado, Connecticut, California, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington
