About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the State Capacity Building Coordinator and Director in working with LCV and its 30+ state affiliates
  • Plan and implement the network-wide annual conference
  • Develop Conservation Voters Movement and State Capacity Building events and operations systems
  • Support state affiliates and the conference planning team
  • Provide timely assistance to conference attendees
  • Coordinate events and communications
  • Provide administrative support
  • Collect resources to share on network-wide platforms
  • Provide onsite event support during the May 17–21 conference in Salt Lake City, Utah
  • Support co-creation and facilitation of online and in-person conference gatherings
  • Participate in internship cohort development opportunities, including a Capstone project, informational interviews, training, and discussions
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders using electronic platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Applicants must be located in and legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Applicants must reside in the listed location
  • Experience supporting event coordination and planning
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong research skills
  • Solid judgment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Self-starter
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
