About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct market, shopper, and competitor analyses to identify category growth opportunities.
  • Develop category plans with the Sales and Marketing teams, focusing on assortment, pricing, planograms, and execution strategies.
  • Build and update category performance reports, including sell-in, sell-out, distribution, market share, average price, and other relevant metrics.
  • Implement and monitor category management projects with key customers, including planograms, share of shelf, and elasticity studies.
  • Liaise with internal teams—including Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance—to ensure alignment and execution of plans.
  • Support the development of point-of-sale materials and promotional initiatives aimed at strengthening the category.
  • Monitor consumer trends, innovations, and market best practices to recommend adjustments and new strategies.
  • Take responsibility for events, trade shows, and conventions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience preferred in Trade Marketing, Category Management, or Market Intelligence.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness and availability to travel.
  • Knowledge of Nielsen, IRI, or Kantar; shopper analytics; and BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
  • Experience in the Food & Beverage and Consumer Goods sectors is a plus.
  • Postgraduate degree or MBA—completed or in progress—in Commercial Management, Trade Marketing, Retail, Business, or a related field is a plus.
