About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop seat wiring harnesses from prototype phase to series production
  • Manage customer requirements from pre-series to start of production
  • Manage assigned projects from customer assignment through start of serial production
  • Create project plans and supervise project deadlines and goals, reporting to a superior
  • Prepare and update technical documentation
  • Design and implement solutions meeting customer and legislative requirements
  • Analyze causes of defects and discrepancies
  • Monitor and register product deficiencies and participate in their elimination with the internal SME team
  • Represent the Technical Center in Pilsen in customer communication and negotiate with internal customers within Lear Corporation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least high school education (electrical, mechanical, or comparable)
  • 3-5 years of experience in industrial project work, ideally automotive
  • Practical experience in construction of electronic systems (soldering, crimping, harness preparation)
  • Communicative level of English is mandatory
  • German would be nice to have
  • Creative technical thinking "outside of the box"
  • Independent, reliable and structured way of working
  • Regular travelling to plants and technical centers in the Czech Republic and Germany
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located
