About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Connect with prospective students and families who have expressed interest in tutoring services.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand academic challenges, goals, and tutoring needs.
  • Recommend appropriate tutoring solutions and clearly communicate their value.
  • Confidently discuss pricing, handle objections, and close sales.
  • Build trust and rapport through professional phone, text, and email communication.
  • Proactively follow up with prospective families and move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
  • Manage a high volume of inbound leads while maintaining a positive customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including conversations, follow-ups, and enrollment outcomes.
  • Consistently work toward enrollment, conversion, revenue, and performance goals.
  • Take ownership of results, welcome coaching, and continuously improve sales performance.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in consultative sales, inside sales, enrollment, admissions, or another phone-based sales environment.
  • Proven experience working toward sales quotas, KPIs, conversion goals, or revenue targets.
  • Experience handling objections, discussing pricing, and closing opportunities.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach to managing leads and following through on commitments.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Accountability, reliability, and a willingness to receive and apply feedback.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven remote environment.
  • Comfortable spending a significant portion of the workday speaking with prospective families by phone.
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated, professional home workspace.
  • Experience in education, tutoring, enrollment, or other high-volume consultative sales environments is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is preferred but not required.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
