About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own developer experience end to end through research, usage data, and direct partner contact, turning insights into an aligned roadmap
Design developer integration views showing usage, quality, errors, and impact
Lead systematic design across platform, catalog, documentation, and marketing surfaces
Establish design patterns and information architecture
Extend the dataset catalog with new features and richer discovery
Develop permission and organization models underlying the access experience
Partner with the design systems lead
Mentor designers across the team and serve as a sought-after reviewer

Requirements

What you’ll need

At minimum 8 years of professional experience
Strength in visual and interaction design
Desire to bring brand expression into the product
Ability to ensure recommendations are adopted into design systems
Experience owning an entire product or platform in production and setting its direction
Ability to frame ambiguous problems and make explicit value and risk tradeoffs
Strong systems instincts and technical depth
Ability to read an API reference
Ability to discuss feasibility with engineers and design within real constraints
Comfort using AI-native methods to ship fast and learn
Ability to prototype in code and validate early
