About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide unbiased, holistic financial guidance directly to employees using the LearnLux digital experience
- Meet and engage with clients remotely over video, chat, and email
- Advise on the LearnLux methodology and respond to changing financial environments
- Participate in monthly team meetings and contribute subject-matter expertise to improve the LearnLux digital experience
- Become an expert on clients’ benefit plans and act as an extension of their team during open enrollment
- Work various shifts from 8 AM–11 PM ET Monday through Friday, with a typical expectation of 5–15 hours per week
- Report to the Director of Financial Planning
Requirements
What you’ll need- CFP® designation required
- Passion for educating individuals to take control and invest in their financial future
- Ability to perform several tasks concurrently, prioritize work, and take direction from multiple team members
- Ability to take initiative and execute
- Experience in multiple areas of personal finance: retirement, equity compensation, investments, budgeting, debt management, student loans, cash flow planning, digital currencies, estate planning, insurance, and more
- CPA, Enrolled Agent, or similar (preferred)
- Certification in Credit Counseling (preferred)
- Additional certifications (preferred)
- Startup and/or Fintech experience (preferred)
- Bilingual Spanish (preferred)
- Experience creating presentations and presenting to large audiences virtually or in-person (preferred)
- Availability to work occasional evenings and Saturday (preferred)
- Ability to occasionally travel to on-site events (preferred)
