About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and manage service timelines with agents
- Work with different markets, insurance carriers, and underwriters throughout the quote process
- Follow up with markets and underwriters for quotations, binders, policies, endorsements, and related items
- Quote new business using carrier rating software, websites, and applications
- Create proposal booklets
- Work daily in the Agency Management System
- Manage ongoing deadlines and projects/tasks
- Collaborate closely with agents and other account managers to support commercial accounts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Applicants must be located within a 150-mile radius of Helena or Bozeman, Montana and able to come into the office when needed
- Preferred valid Property and Casualty license in Montana
- Preferred 3 years agency experience
- Must have digital competence
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills
- Preferred experience with carrier rating software
- Preferred bachelor’s degree or higher
- Preferred experience with AMS360
