About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a technical owner of the Salesforce platform, including configuration, integrations, and data management
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal or third-party systems using APIs, web services, webhooks, and ETL processes
- Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy and reliability
- Establish and maintain Salesforce governance, security standards, data quality processes, and role-based access controls
- Evaluate, implement, and support Salesforce managed packages and AppExchange solutions
- Help lead system implementations, enhancements, and release activities from planning through deployment
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables while providing regular project updates
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and technology optimization
- Develop and maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision-making
- Create and maintain process, configuration, and integration documentation
- Support user adoption through documentation, training materials, and release communications
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in systems integration, Salesforce administration, business systems, or related technology roles
- Experience working with APIs, web services, integrations, and cloud-based technologies
- Experience with Salesforce administration, workflows, reporting, and integrations
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- PMP, Agile, Scrum, or similar certification preferred
- Experience in the benefits, insurance, or financial services industry preferred
- Familiarity with ETL tools, AppExchange products, and system governance best practices preferred
