About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the development and administration of the on-premises cloud infrastructure
  • Contribute to the automation of system environments
  • Develop and optimize the complete CI/CD process for various projects
  • Monitor the system environment, troubleshoot issues, and optimize the infrastructure
  • Contribute to the release process through code reviews and documentation
  • Ensure the security of cloud platforms in collaboration with the Cloud Security Engineer

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree, for example in (Business) Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Digitalization, or a comparable qualification in the IT field
  • Professional experience with cloud migration projects
  • Proficiency in DevOps/DevSecOps and tools such as CI/CD platforms, including ArgoCD, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and GitLab
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), as well as Terraform and Ansible
  • Experience automating and orchestrating cloud management tasks, for example with Ansible, Chef, and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of software development frameworks and programming languages, such as Golang, PHP, and Python
  • Knowledge of database technologies, such as PostgreSQL, MSSQL, NoSQL, Redis, and CDN technologies
  • Knowledge of virtualization platforms, such as KVM and VMware
  • Knowledge of operating systems, such as Windows and Linux, including scripting experience
  • Experience with cloud networking, such as subnetting, routing tables, security groups, VPCs, VPC peering, NACLs, and VPNs
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present solutions and provide constructive peer reviews
