About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take responsibility for the strategic development of the enterprise architecture and define long-term target architectures
- Define architecture principles, standards, and governance requirements, and ensure compliance
- Analyze, develop, and document the current and target architecture of the IT landscape
- Develop and manage roadmaps for technological transformation
- Advise executive leadership on strategic IT matters
- Evaluate emerging technologies and prepare architecture and technology decisions
- Support architecture decisions in projects and coordinate them across departments
- Continuously develop and establish Enterprise Architecture Management
- Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and external partners
- Play an active role in shaping the digital transformation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, IT Architecture, or a comparable strategic role
- Ability to analyze complex IT landscapes holistically and develop them strategically in on-premises or multi-cloud environments
- Experience developing architecture principles, target architectures, and transformation roadmaps
- Knowledge of modern technologies such as cloud, hybrid-cloud, and container platforms, as well as automation concepts
- Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks and architecture methods, such as TOGAF or ArchiMate
- Ability to communicate technical matters clearly and reconcile differing interests
- Knowledge of architecture, portfolio, and lifecycle management
- Analytical mindset, structured approach to work, and confidence in advocating for decisions
- Enthusiasm for actively shaping change and taking responsibility
