About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Take responsibility for the strategic advancement of the enterprise architecture and develop long-term target-state visions
  • Define architecture principles, standards, and governance requirements, and ensure compliance
  • Analyze, develop, and document the current and target architectures of the IT landscape
  • Develop and manage roadmaps for the company’s technological transformation
  • Advise executive management on strategic IT development matters
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and prepare architecture and technology decisions
  • Support architecture decisions in projects and coordinate them across departments
  • Continuously develop and establish Enterprise Architecture Management
  • Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and external partners, helping shape the digital transformation
  • Create transparency regarding the costs, benefits, and risks of modernization initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, IT architecture, or a comparable strategic role
  • Ability to analyze complex IT landscapes holistically and develop them strategically in on-premises or multi-cloud environments
  • Experience developing architecture principles, target architectures, and transformation roadmaps
  • Knowledge of modern technologies such as cloud, hybrid cloud, and container platforms, as well as automation concepts
  • Proven experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and architecture methodologies, such as TOGAF or ArchiMate
  • Ability to communicate technical matters clearly and reconcile differing interests
  • Knowledge of architecture, portfolio, and lifecycle management
  • Analytical thinking, a structured approach to work, and the ability to advocate for decisions convincingly
  • Willingness to actively drive change and take responsibility
