About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design fiber optic and copper OSP networks for FTTH deployments and commercial developments
  • Work with power companies and design power routes and one-line schematics
  • Manage growth and sustainment of existing networks, including relocations and infrastructure changes
  • Perform quality control, field checks, and interpret OSP records
  • Create system designs, bills of materials, and construction quotes
  • Conduct site walks for data collection
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, construction, and cross-functional teams
  • Support construction staff with safety and quality control
  • Perform both office and field work under the guidance of the Design Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College, Trade, or Technical Diploma, preferably in civil, electrical/telecommunications, or GIS
  • 3+ years in OSP telecommunications or a related field using AutoCAD
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, Google Earth, Bluebeam, and Adobe
  • GIS is a plus
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to interpret construction documents
  • Ability to collaborate effectively
  • Ability to adapt within a dynamic work environment
  • Must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States
