About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to multidisciplinary mining teams
  • Lead mine-site health, safety, and environmental performance
  • Implement and enforce the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP)
  • Ensure mining project activities follow approved plans, specifications, and operational requirements
  • Oversee project execution across planning, mobilization, operations support, and close-out
  • Coordinate with client operations, engineering, and maintenance groups
  • Develop and maintain project schedules supporting milestones and client production objectives
  • Monitor budgets, forecasting, billing, and reporting
  • Manage trade awards and procurement aligned with commercial targets
  • Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, consultants, and site stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 8 years of experience managing mining, industrial, or heavy-resource sector projects
  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong understanding of project documentation, cost controls, contracts, and overall project delivery frameworks
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams in dynamic, fast-paced project environments
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical and complex information to a range of stakeholders
  • Must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States
