About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in intake and co-planning conversations with LEE staff and partner organizations
- Facilitate in-person and virtual events for future and current members
- Conduct outreach for event turnout via calls, texts, and similar methods
- Guide members to LEE resources, supports, coaching, and opportunities
- Use Salesforce, Tableau, Asana, and Google Sheets to input and track engagement data
- Analyze event results and enter findings into LEE systems within five business days
- Prepare for sessions using LEE facilitator guides and decks
- Participate in preparation and run-throughs and support session delivery
- Collaborate with the team to understand facilitation context and share learnings
- Lead or contribute to special projects as assigned
- Bring Northern or Southern California local context to member programming
- Travel locally within the region for in-person events
- Work approximately 12–15 hours per assigned event, including preparation, facilitation, and wrap-up
- Lead an anticipated average of 1–2 events per quarter
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience; without a Bachelor’s degree, 4 additional years of relevant experience are required
- Associate’s degree plus 2 additional years of relevant experience, if applicable
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including facilitating learning opportunities for adults
- Strategic planning, time prioritization, and implementation management in fast-moving environments
- Consultative orientation and ability to execute intake needs and co-design experiences with stakeholders
- Reside in approved Northern or Southern California geographic hubs
- Deep community/educational networks within Northern or Southern California
- Willingness to travel in person to regional events
- Ability to build and leverage relationships with diverse audiences and partners
- Ability to communicate and collaborate within a geographically dispersed team
- Strong commitment to LEE’s mission, core values, and theory of change
- Native or professional bilingual fluency in English and Spanish highly preferred
- Civic leadership experience preferred
- Experience working and coaching across lines of difference preferred
- Fluency in Google Suite preferred
- San Francisco, San Jose, and West Hollywood residents are excluded from consideration
