About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work remotely on a project for a financial institution
Transform digital navigation data into actionable insights and product recommendations
Map digital product journeys, identifying friction points, opportunities, and impacts on the user experience
Analyze digital navigation data, including events, journeys, funnels, and usage behavior
Process and analyze large volumes of data using SQL and Python
Build and optimize complex queries
Develop dashboards and monitor key digital product metrics
Support the definition and validation of tagging and navigation events
Challenge assumptions and identify opportunities to improve user experience and conversion
Present findings and recommendations to partner teams
Influence product decisions
Act as a consultant to business teams by understanding the underlying needs behind their requests

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 3 years of experience in analytics or data analysis
Advanced SQL (Databricks, Spark SQL, BigQuery, or similar)
Experience building and optimizing complex queries
Knowledge of window functions
Experience analyzing large volumes of data
Prior experience with Databricks
Experience with Web Analytics and digital data, including events, journeys, funnels, browsing behavior, and tagging
Power BI for building executive dashboards and monitoring key metrics (a plus)
Experience with Adobe Analytics (a plus)
Experience with digital products, digital channels, or customer experience (a plus)
Consultative mindset and the ability to challenge assumptions
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage clearly with partner teams
Proactive profile and initiative to identify opportunities
Business acumen and the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations
Investigative mindset and curiosity to explore data and understand root causes
Ability to influence product decisions in collaboration with partner teams
Advanced SQL knowledge and hands-on experience are essential
