About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Handle support tickets by analyzing issues, diagnosing root causes, and fixing problems across the back end and front end
  • Keep requesters and leadership informed through clear status, timeline, and impact updates
  • Manage tickets end to end with autonomy
  • Develop enhancements and new features using Node.js, PHP/Laravel, and React.js
  • Use AI tools such as Claude and Claude Code to investigate, code, review, and document
  • Participate in code reviews and follow the team’s pull request and deployment processes
  • Document ticket causes and solutions to prevent recurrence
  • Propose improvements that reduce ticket volume
  • Test new tools, especially AI tools, and share results with the team
  • Attend an in-person meeting with client management once every two weeks when requested

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • More than 6 years of experience as a software developer, including full-stack work
  • Node.js on the back end (REST APIs)
  • PHP with Laravel
  • React.js on the front end
  • Relational databases (PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server), including queries, data modeling, and performance analysis
  • Git, pull request workflows, and code reviews
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Jira and Kanban-based work
  • Practical use of AI in software development (Claude, Claude Code, or similar tools)
  • Experience in application support, including bug investigation, log analysis, and production fixes
  • Clear written and verbal communication with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Automated testing (PHPUnit, Jest, or similar) is a plus
  • Using AI beyond coding—for example, to automate ticket analysis and generate tests and documentation—is a plus
